66 dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hours

At least 66 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till 8:00 am today (July 18), according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the new cases, 44 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka and 22 outside the capital. With these, the total number of dengue patients rose to 1,789 across the country.

Among the patients, 234 are still undergoing treatment including 177 in the capital.

A total of 1,552 patients have been released from hospitals and three patients have died so far.
