9 dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hours

Nine dengue patients were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8 am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of them, six are from outside Dhaka.

With the new cases this year, a total of 61 people were diagnosed with dengue during the current month.

A total of 30 dengue patients, many of whom were admitted last month, are still undergoing treatment at hospitals in Dhaka and 22 outside Dhaka.

According to DGHS, around 28,429 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in 2021. The death toll stood at 105 last year.
