Dengue death toll now 44 as 2 more die

At least two dengue patients died while 381 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00am today (September 17, 2022).

With the new death cases, the total number of dengue deaths rose to 44.

Of the death cases, 17 are at Cox's Bazar, four are at Barishal, and two at Chattogram while 21 are in Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

With 381 new patients, 79 from outside Dhaka, the total number of dengue cases this year rose to 10,777.

A total of 1,493 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 390 from outside Dhaka.

A total of 9,240 patients have been released from hospitals, 2,282 from outside Dhaka so far this year.
