Dengue fever: 1 dead, 108 hospitalised in last 24 hours

At least one dengue patient died while 108 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till this morning.

With the latest update, the total number of deaths due to dengue fever this year has risen to 272 while the total number of cases rose to 61,629, of whom 22,808 are from outside Dhaka.

Meanwhile, a total of 60,777 patients have already been released following treatment this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Meanwhile, around 580 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 249 are from outside Dhaka.
