One dengue patients died while 395 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till 8:00 am today (September 15, 2022), according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new death case in Chattogram, the total number of dengue deaths rose to 40.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Among the total deaths, 17 were at Cox's Bazar, four at Barishal, two at Chattogram while 17 were in Dhaka, DGHS said.
With the 395 new patients, the total number of dengue cases this year rose to 10,232.
A total of 1,311 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 340 are from outside of Dhaka.
A total of 8,881 patients have been released from hospitals, so far this year. Of them, 1,774 are from outside the capital.
