Dengue fever: 1 dies, 285 hospitalised in 24 hours

One dengue patient died and 285 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till this morning.

With the new death, the total number of deaths in dengue rose to 29 this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of dengue cases this year stands at 4,087, of which 939 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 937 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment.

A total of 3,121 dengue patients were released from hospitals.
