Dengue fever: 1 patient hospitalised in 24 hours

One dengue patient was hospitalised in 24 hours till 8 am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new case this year, a total of 62 people were diagnosed with dengue during the current month. Of them, 33 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 52 dengue patients, many of whom were admitted last month, are still undergoing treatment at hospitals in Dhaka, and 31 outside Dhaka.

According to the DGHS, around 28,429 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in 2021. The death toll stood at 105 last year.
