Dengue fever: 12 patients hospitalised in 24 hours

At least 12 patients with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this morning.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients rose to 876 this year, of whom 429 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Nine dengue patients have died so far this year. Some 24 patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom six are from outside Dhaka.

Meanwhile, at least 841 dengue patients have already been released from hospitals. Of them, 420 are from outside Dhaka.
