Dengue fever: 15 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least 15 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours till this morning.

Of them, nine are from outside of Dhaka.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients rose to 489 while total number of deaths this year remains at six, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Some 53 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment. of which, 26 are from outside the capital. A total of 430 dengue patients were released from hospitals, of them, 226 are from outside of Dhaka.

The total number of deaths from dengue fever was 281 last year while the total number of cases was 62,382, of which 23,162 were from outside of Dhaka, according to the DGHS.
