Dengue fever: 18 patients hospitalised in a day

At least 18 patients were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the new cases, two are from outside Dhaka.

With the new cases, a total of 107 people are currently undergoing treatment at the country's public and private hospitals.

Till today, a total of 28,348 people were hospitalised this year after being infected with dengue. Of them, 28,137 were released from hospitals, according to DGHS.

According to DGHS, 104 people have died of dengue infection in the country this year.
