Dengue fever: 2 dead, 89 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least two dengue patients died while 89 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till this morning.

The total number of deaths has now risen to 276 while the total number of dengue patients rose to 61,972. Of them, 22,943 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 61,195 patients have already been released after treatment. Of them, 22,634 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 501 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of whom 204 are from outside Dhaka.
