Dengue fever: 3 die, 760 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least three dengue patients died while 760 others were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this (November 14, 2022) morning.

With the new deaths, a total of 205 dengue patients died while the total number of cases rose to 49,300 of which 17,137 are from outside of Dhaka.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the death cases, 120 died in Dhaka, 24 in Cox's Bazar, 26 in Chattogram, seven in Barishal, seven in Khulna, five in Mymensingh, two each in Rajshahi and Narail and one each in Narsingdi, Kushtia, Pabna, Bagerhat, Khagrachhari, Bogura, Madaripur and Feni.

A total of 46,106 patients have already been released, of them 15,830 are from outside the capital.

Some 2,989 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 1,222 are from outside of Dhaka.
