Dengue fever: 371 patients hospitalised in 24 hours

At least 371 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till this morning.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients this year rose to 7,609, of whom 1,754 are from outside Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Some 1,385 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the country.

A total of 45 dengue patients have died so far this year.

Total number of deaths in dengue was 281 last year while the total number of cases was 62,382, according to the DGHS.
