Dengue fever: 8 dead, 765 hospitalised in 24 hours

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients rose to 23,282 of which 6,023 are from outside of Dhaka, according to the Dhaka Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the death cases, 45 were in Dhaka, 21 in Cox's Bazar, 11 in Chattogram, five in Barishal and one was in Narsingdi.
A total of 2,695 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 268 from outside the capital.
A total of 20,504 patients have been released from hospitals, of them 5,205 are from outside of Dhaka.
