Dengue fever: 9 patients hospitalised in 24 hours

At least nine patients with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this morning.

Among the new cases, three are from outside Dhaka.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients rose to 930 this year, of whom 451 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Ten dengue patients have died so far this year. Some 26 patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom eight are from outside Dhaka.

Meanwhile, at least 894 dengue patients have already been released from hospitals. Of them, 440 are from outside Dhaka.
