Dengue fever: No deaths, 145 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least 145 patients with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this morning.

Among the new cases, 79 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients rose to 61,408 this year, of whom 22,720 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 271 dengue patients have died so far this year. Meanwhile, at least 60,461 patients have already been released. Of them, 22,314 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 676 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 302 are from outside Dhaka.
