Dengue fever: No deaths, 39 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least 39 patients with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this morning.

Among the new cases, only 12 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients rose to 61,883 this year, of whom 22,913 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 274 dengue patients have died this year.

Meanwhile, at least 61,093 patients have already been released. Of them, 22,579 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 516 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 229 are from outside Dhaka.
