Dengue fever: No deaths, 47 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least 47 patients with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this morning.

Among the new cases, 21 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients this year has risen to 62,382, of whom 23,162 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 281 dengue patients have died this year.

Some 338 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 177 are from outside Dhaka.
