Dengue fever: No deaths, 67 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least 67 patients with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this morning.

Among the new cases, only 31 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients rose to 62,256 this year, of whom 23,086 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 281 dengue patients have died so far this year.

Meanwhile, at least 61,615 patients have already been released. Of them, 22,804 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 360 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 174 are from outside Dhaka.
