Dengue fever: One dead, 126 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least one dengue patient died while 126 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till this morning.

With the new death, the total number of deaths rose to 273 while the total number of cases rose to 61,755, of whom 22,866 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 60,909 patients have already been released following treatment this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Meanwhile, around 573 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 247 are from outside Dhaka.
