No deaths, 118 hospitalised with dengue fever in 24hrs

At least 118 dengue patients were hospitalised in 24 hours till this morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the new 118 cases, 57 are from outside Dhaka.

With the new dengue cases, the total number of cases rose to 59,813 of whom 21,957 are from outside Dhaka.

The total number of deaths from dengue this year currently stands at 263.

A total of 58,333 patients have already been released, of whom 21,331 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 1,217 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of whom 525 are from outside Dhaka.
