With the new death in Cox's Bazar, the total number of deaths from dengue this year rose to 22. Of the deceased, 12 are from Cox's Bazar alone, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the patients, 781 are still undergoing treatment, including 124 from outside Dhaka.
A total of 5,554 patients have been released from hospitals, DGHS added.
