With the new death in Cox's Bazar, the total number of deaths from dengue this year rose to 20. Of the deceased, 11 are from Cox's Bazar alone, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the patients, 668 are still undergoing treatment, including 117 outside the capital.
A total of 5,005 patients have been released from hospitals, DGHS added.
