2,473 undergoing treatment in hospitals
At least three dengue patients died while 700 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), two deaths each were reported from Dhaka South City Corporation areas and another from Dhaka North.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths from dengue this year rose to 220 while total cases rose to 52,104.
Among the total cases, 49,411 dengue patients have been released so far after treatment.
Currently, 2,473 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country, 1,617 of which are from outside Dhaka.
