Dengue deaths cross 550

With two more dengue deaths reported today, the total number of fatalities from the disease this year crossed 550 this year.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the total number of deaths rose to 551 while with 311 new dengue patients, the total number of cases increased to 99,295.

Currently, 1,533 dengue patients are undergoing treatment, of which 931 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 97,211 patients have been released till yesterday across the country.
