Two more die of dengue, 490 hospitalised in a day

At least two dengue patients died and 490 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), both deaths were reported from the Dhaka South City Corporation areas.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths this year so far rose to 200, while total cases rose to 47,832.

Among the total cases, 45,273 dengue patients have been released so far after treatment.

Currently, 2,359 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country, 1,551 of which are from outside Dhaka.
