Apex court’s full bench to operate 5 working days a week from June 1

The full bench of the Supreme Court Appellate Division, headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, will conduct judicial functions virtually on five working days every week from tomorrow.

Currently, the apex court's full bench has been conducting the hearing and disposing of the cases on three working days -- Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday -- since April 5 virtually due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

Appellate Division's Registrar Md Badrul Alam Bhuiyan issued a notification in this regard today.

Every week from Sunday to Thursday, the court will operate judicial activities from 9:30am to 1:30pm with a break of half an hour at 11:30am.

The notification will remain in force till further order.
