Patuakhali OC’s ‘selfie with accused’ being investigated

A probe committee was formed today to investigate into officer-in-charge of Baufal Police Station Mostafizur Rahman's selfies with some of the accused in a vandalism case inside the police station on Sunday night.

Mohammad Shahidullah, superintendent of Patuakhali police, said he formed the probe committee today over the incident and asked Mukit Hasan Khan, additional superintendent (Sadar circle), to submit the probe report within 24 hours.

Legal action will be taken against the OC based on the investigation report, the SP said while talking to reporters at his office today.

Meanwhile, a team of Baufal Police Station arrested two out of five accused -- Foyez Bishwas and Hasan Dafadar -- from their houses early today, said OC Mostafizur Rahman.

They were sent to jail by a court today, our local correspondent reports, quoting the OC.
