Saad Chowdhury will be conducting a series of classes that will cover some of the basics of Western music theory and its possible uses in a performance scenario. The session will touch upon many of the basics: some of the written symbols and their meanings, dynamics, articulation, time signatures, key signatures, opportunities to read and write music, practical examples, case studies, and group activities, interpretation, analysis, communication.
