In the world of midsummer fantasy
And why would you not? Tis the middle of summer already; the season blessed with boundless warmth from the gigantic fireball in our solar system. On such picnic days it is easier for us to imagine fairies, magic and love potions. Shakespeare's not all to blame; it's just the glistening of the sun's rays on the green grass that breaks all boundaries and makes us feel hopelessly romantic.
Summer styling is meant to be passionate, unhinged and wild. The season demands both insanity and comfort to go hand in hand. The midsummer rays encourage our wild inner-self to showcase the fun and let go of all the gravity bothering from within.
Muse, fantasize, dream...
Charles Fredrick Worth had been inspired and so were Potou, Pouret, Lanvin, Chanel and Guess. You name it and they have all been influenced by the season to go on daydreaming with the sundress.
It is one outfit that you simply cannot miss out on a sunny day.
But how can you make it more interesting from your next door neighbour's cutsie daughter?
Pick up some pearls, tie your hair in a bun and flaunt those long legs with T-heel stilettos.
The Deshi vibe
We all know how our lives are spruced up with vibrant colours like orange, blood red, sunflower yellow or sometimes even neon green. Don't let anyone ever tell you that bright colours are meant for dull days!
A sundress in bold patterns, printed florals or vibrant hues always sets fire to the stage. But so does grameen check, polkas, stripes or anything else in plain pastels, ivory white or muted blues. And that is the blessing of summer, anything and everything looks generous!
But if you are a big fan of the au-naturel and want to go all-deshi, Grameen checks are a sure way to have all the fun and enjoy the diplomacy of patriotism.
Party away my love
Summer is associated with garden parties, loose pants, wide-brimmed hats, tortoise sun glasses, flowy skirts, cold shoulders and of course a good pair of flats!
You can always add in a textured belt to your loose tops to add character. The sun hats you have chosen to wear can be floppy straws or intricately woven delicate covers. One of our personal favourite is the printed head scarves that always make dressing up more fun.
Off topic, ALWAYS make sure to paint your nails in energetic, vibrant colours!

Wardrobe for the bohemian
You think bohemian lifestyle is meant for everyone except for the sober. Clearly, you have no idea about fashion! Sundresses look ever-so-gorgeous when paired with bags in wild prints and patchwork. To make it more stylish, pair fashionable khussas with your sundress; the unique flats can flaunt pearls, feathers, tassels or any print you prefer.
You are not so keen on wearing a sundress. Does that mean we all go back to square one?
Of course not! Summer dressing is meant to be fun and it can be all that and more even with a modest dress up. Cover your head with a printed headdress and go for long kurtis in bold patterns, stripes or polkis.
It all works well as long as you believe in the magic of midsummer fairies, goblins and sprites!
