Biman to introduce direct flights to UAE’s Sharjah from Jan 25

Biman Bangladesh Airlines will be introducing direct flights on Dhaka-Sharjah-Dhaka route from January 25 for the convenience of passengers.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines will be introducing direct flights on Dhaka-Sharjah-Dhaka route from January 25 for the convenience of passengers.

Initially, Biman will operate four flights per week to the popular destination, Biman said in a press release today.

Passengers will be able to buy tickets from 3:00pm this afternoon, the release also added.

Biman flight BG51 will depart every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Monday at 10:30pm (local time) from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka and will reach Sharjah at 2:15 pm (local time).

Flight BG 152 will depart Sharjah every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 4:00am and will reach Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram at 10:45am (local time).

From the Chattogram airport, the flight will depart at 11:45am and is scheduled to reach Dhaka at 12:30pm.

Passengers will be able to purchase tickets from any Biman sales office, sales centre (24/7) at Balaka Headquarters, Biman call centre (01990997997) and from any authorised travel agency from 3:00pm today. 

Passengers must be present at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at least eight hours before their scheduled departure time to complete all activities in line with the travel advisory.
