Bangladeshis applying for Indian tourist visa now have the option to retain their passports after application submission. But they will have to submit their passports seven days before the issuance of the visa.
This new rule was made known in a notice on the website of Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) Monday.
The applicants can also select time slot for submitting visa applications while making online payment of visa processing fees. Thus, they will not have to wait for long to submit applications at the IVAC, the notice added.
