His popularity and reputation exceed the boundaries of Bangladesh thanks to his talent and superior music skills. Millions over the years have hummed hisadhuniksongs and he is still going strong.

Laser Vision released the singer's new VCD album Celebrates 25 years of Kumar Bishwajit's music in live. The launching ceremony was held at Bishwa Shahitya Kendra (BSK) auditorium on October 23.

In his welcoming speech, the artiste said, "Music is an integral part of my life. I feel deeply content and honoured that my songs are still popular. The album is an effort to bring people closer. However, I still have a lot more to do."

Chief guest of the event was noted music director Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul. Popular singer Shakila Zafar, journalist and composer Kabir Bakul, Omar Mirza -- president of Melody Entertainment, AKM Arifur Rahman -- chairman of Laser Vision and other prominent names of our cultural arena attended the function.

After launching the VCD, the music videos were premiered. Lux-Channel i super star participant Juthi was the MC of the programme.
