Channel-i has come up with yet another drama serial,Aala Bhola. For a change, this series of drama does not revolve around merely the traditional idea of family bonding, occurring obstructions, lovers' squabbles and big wedding parties with fabulously dressed ladies. Rather, through this drama serial the audience in Bangladesh just might be able to enjoy some good comedy and pleasant wit after ages.

The story revolves around two friends Aala and Bhola, who live in a village. Bhola, a stout fellow is, as his namesake, bhola or foolish and tends to fall in trouble all the time. In the very first episode, Bhola's wife sends Bhola to get rice from the village grocer. On his way to the store, Bhola finds himself amongst little boys playing with marbles and stones. Without giving it another thought, Bhola spends the whole morning and afternoon playing stones and marbles with the children, until dusk falls and realization hits him. He starts to wonder as to how he would explain the situation to his wife, who was getting tired and worried waiting for him back home. That's when Aala enters, a thin, smart fellow with wit and a head full of ready made excuses and answers. Aala helps his friend Bhola by wrapping his forehead and arms with bandages and takes him back home, claiming to the wife that a bull had attacked Bhola. The wife believes the little tale and takes good care of Bhola, until the next morning when she sees Bhola's uninjured forehead.

This new drama serial is definitely going to attract a lot of viewers and it is also going to have a good competition with all the other drama serials on the channel. For a change, the audience is going to enjoy some healthy family comedy and will also witness good performance from the actors.
