Abhayasram a telefilm on 'chand raat'

To entertain viewers in this festive season, ATN Bangla airs an array of colourful programmes right from the 'chand raat'. To cite an example, there is telefilm, Abhayasram, which will be telecast at 7:50pm.

Scripted by Brindabon Das and directed by Saidul Anam Tutul, the telefilm Abhayasram takes the viewers to a dreamland. The story revolves around two friends Isha Ali and Mukhter Hossain, asleep on a footpath after being drunk and lost in their dreams. There they find a refuge and meet Gonjey Ali Mia and his daughter Sabeda. The two friends fall in love with her. In the dream Mukhtar turns into a terrorist while Isha Ali turns into a beggar who lives under Gonjey Ali's guidance. One fine day top terrorist Mukhtar marries Sabeda. Then follows chaos and a series of interesting incidents.

However, their dreams don't last long as a policeman wakes them up. But are they really awake?

ATM Shamsuzzaman, Najma Anwar, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Mir Sabbir, Rumana Khan, Farzana Chumki and many more popular artistes act in this telefilm which is similar to Ajitesh Bandaopadhaya's acclaimed story Tin Poishar Pala .
