On November 25, G-Series came up with a new CD that has stirred great enthusiasm among the music lovers of the country. Shumon of Aurthohin, the creative force behind the development of this new genre compilation, has titled itAgontuk-2.

New genre of music refers to 'non-traditional forms of melody' which are experimental and fresh. The album presents a diverse range of artistes.

Aurthohin's Juddho is a perfect present-day song depicting the political catastrophe of the time. The powerful lyric portrays the unruly behaviour of the Bush administration revealing rage against the Iraq war. With heavy punch of 'nu-metal' flavour, distinctive guitars, technical drums and keyboards--musically, it makes an exciting opening.

The second song Chiley Kothar Shepai by the metal monsters Artcell is yet another big hit. Unique drumbeats and chorus of the song makes it sound like one of those march-past saluting tracks--very patriotic type music although the words describe a boy's entrapment in his illusion.

Next, Obocheton is by far one of the most entertaining songs. The heavy guitar works influenced by the rock era of the '80s and the melodious music remind one of a great work by Nemesis.

Kritodash by Reborn with its heavy guitars and drums makes it one of the heaviest songs in the aibum.

Stentorian's Odrishho Juddho has a public acclaimed Dio-influenced great vocal with catchy rhythm and lead guitars. The instrumentation is unique and defines good music.

Artonad by Arbovirus has become a promising alternative rock number. An admirable vocal with good use of guitar effects, adaptive bass guitar and vibrant drums make it a delightful track.

In the next song Prem, the assortment of varied guitars with the two pitches of vocals harmonizing, indifferent drumming and intriguing bass guitar works make it the most creative track by CrypticFate.

The eighth track Shada by Breach has very catchy guitar, with simple lively lyric and exhilarating drumming. The vocal with lot of emotion builds up an alluring recipe for one of the most ostentatious alternative rock compositions from the compilation.

Kral's Shesh has remarkable use of double bass drums with a great guitar solo making it a solid metal number.

Dethrow's first ever produced song Nishshash could have been a great heavy metal track. The guitar riffs and harmonizing vocal are superb with very imaginative drumming. However, the very ordinary guitar solo could not do justice to the song.

Shopno by dNA is a well composed metal song. The instrumentation was fantastic as the Friedmanish lead guitars, captivating vocal, energetic drumming and skilful bass is part of this terrific composition.

Black's Shokarto Upokul is the most ordinary soft rock number. After a great album, the song's impression is experiencing a demurring characteristic.

The last track Arrival from the guitar legend Kamal of Warfaze seems to have a lot of progressive influence with the likes of DreamTheatre. Shumon's mastered bass guitar work has added a lot of flavour to the fascinating instrumental piece.

This rivetting 13-track album leaves the music reviewers and critics in total bewilderment.
