The duet album features young artistes Diljit Shajal and Manasi Shadhu. The album contains 12 tracks of which one is sung solo by both Manasi and Diljit. Diljit has written and tuned all the tracks of the album except the number Chhaya chhaya which is written by Faruk Wasif.

The album surely promises of a talent in Diljit. His lyrics have the profundity reflecting the modern life with all its components--frustration, disillusionment and hope. Numbers like Etokal porey, Din chhilo, Phul hobey na, Dukkho loiya, Shobai bojhey and the titular Bhor hobey possess nostalgia that take one to bygone days. The tunes are a blend of folk music and modern Bangla songs. They also mark the brilliance of an original composition by the young musician Diljit.

Both Manasi and Diljit have voices attuned in the folk music style. This qualifies their songs with an affinity to the country's culture.
