Amadergaan.com comes forward to help ailing Boyati

Internet-based music community amadergaan.com will hold a charity concert on October 8, in order to raise funds for treatment of the ailing folk singer Abdur Rahman Boyati.

Twenty one frontline bands of the country will participate in the 10-hour long programme to be held at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Upcoming bands like Artcell, Aashor, Arbovirus, Black, Birodh, Brintochyuto, dNA, Echoes, FBR, Kronic, Metal Maze, Celcius, Pentagon, Pepper, Stentorian and Nagorik will join hands with big names like Miles, Feedback, Maqsood O Dhaka, Warfaze and Aurthohin in this concert. Popular Gono Sangeet artiste Fakir Alamgir will also perform at the show as a guest artiste.

Tickets for the concert have been priced at Taka 200.

Amadergaan.com has over 350 members across the world. For the first time the community has come up with such a charity work.
