Star Cineplex, in association with a Bangla dailyBhorer Kagojis commemorating an Independence Week special. To celebrate our Independence Day, Star Cineplex will screen four full-length feature films and four documentaries starting from today, all based on independence. This special week-long movie campaign has been planned with the younger generation in mind, as they need to know about the arduous history of the struggle of our indepence.

The four feature films that will be screened are Lal-Shobuj directed by Shahidul Islam, Ora Egarojon by Chashi Nazrul Islam, Jayjatra by Tauquir Ahmed and Megher Onek Rong by Harun-Ur-Rashid. The four selected documentaries are Stop Genocide by Zahir Raihan, Shei Raat-er kotha Boltey Eshechi by Kausar Chowdhury, Charukala-e Muktijudhdho by Manzar-e-Hassin Murad and Shadhinota by Yasmin Kabir.

The viewers will have the privilege to watch a documentary prior to the each of the feature films at no additional cost.

Star Cineplex has also arranged road-shows at different private universities in Dhaka to promote this movie-campaign and also collect comments from students on their impression of Bangladesh. Students who come up with the best hundred comments will be rewarded.

The week-long movie campaign will end on March 31.
