Dr M Osman Farooq, the Minister of Education, delivering his speech at the function
The City School International-Dhaka held its first annual function recently at the Gulshan Club, says a press release. The guest of honour was Dr M Osman Farooq, the Minister of Education. As the school has students of diverse nationalities, there was a large expatriate audience, including Ambassadors and diplomats.

Each of the students had a chance to perform in at least one event--be it the percussion band, the school choir, the karate performance or the drama The Merchant of Venice.

Headed by the Principal Mona Dharmawardhane, a Sri Lankan, the school has made steady strides.
