Anti-drug cultural campaign in Rajshahi
A three-day campaign began in Rajshahi recently. The campaign was held in observance of the International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. The function was organised by development organisation CCD Bangladesh, its affiliate Youth Voice and Bangladesh Advanced Students Alliance (BASA). The programme was also supported by the National AIDS/ STD Programme and UNICEF to raise mass awareness on these social ills, says a press release.Roving cultural shows were held in crowded streets all over Rajshahi on the first day. Youth Voice members rendered Gombhira and Baul Asor. with messages on anti-drugs.
