Popular performers Srabonti, Tisha and Mehreen seen at the "Elite Ranga Mehendi Utshab" in the city recently. Fahmida Nabi, Shahed Sharif Khan, Kanakchampa Chakma and Kayes Chowdhury were also present at the occasion. Students of the Fine Arts Institute inaugurated the weeklong festival by painting delicate designs on the palms of the stars. The event continued throughout the day. Similar events will be held during the Ekushey Book Fair and Baishakhi Mela (the Bangla New Year festival), says a press release.
