Auditions end in Dhaka
A panel of judges, well established in their respective fields, will shortlist entries at the regional level. The list of judges include Subarana Mustafa, Tareq Anam Khan, Alamgir, Bijori Barkat Ullah, Deepa Khondokar, Salauddin Lavlu, Sweety, Ishita, Farhana Mithu, Israfil Shahin, Abdullah Rana, Farah Ruma and others.
So far, the beauty pageant has received over 10,000 entries from contestants all over the country. The pageant has attracted talent and beauty from six regions, including metros like Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal and Sylhet. The selection and audition round will shortlist contestants who will then move on to the grand finale. The champion will get the chance to play the lead role in a film based on Humayun Ahmed's popular book Daruchini Dwip.

After the primary screening of the applicants' portfolios, those who qualified for the selection round were asked to present themselves in appropriate attire. Besides the minimum height requirement for the contest, participants' confidence and personality were considered for the screening process. The finalists have been chosen by the judges' panel for training. They will compete in a spectacular event.
Talking about the contest, one of the judges said, "The pageant is a hallmark event. Not only is it an appreciation of beauty and essence of a young Bangladeshi woman, it is also a celebration for all that we stand for through the richness of our heritage and culture."
