Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation observes the World Theatre Day

The programme will be divided into two parts. The first part consists of the conference of the theatre activists of the country and a discussion programme on 'Theatres in Bangladesh and their contributions'.

The programme, from 10am to 5pm on March 27, will be organised by the Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation at Mahila Samity Auditorium. Cultural programmes will be presented from 10am to 1pm.

The second part of the function is jointly organised by the Bangladesh Centre of the International Theatre Institute and Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation where a colourful rally with masks and festoons by the theatre activists will be performed at 5pm.

In the evening artist Mustafa Munwar will give a speech on the event, while eminent Jatra personality Jotsna Biswas will be awarded at 6pm. At the end a puppet show will be shown ,directed by Mustafa Munwar.
