The beat goes on

NKA Mobin, Director of Finance, GP, said in his speech, "The youngsters of our country idolise LRB and djuice is a brand targeted towards the youth. djuice is glad to be a part of LRB's most recent endeavour and here's hoping the youngsters would enjoy this album."

Kafil HS Muyeed, Director of Marketing, GP said, "LRB certainly knows what our youth want. Their songs narrate the dreams, aspirations, joys, woes of the youngsters and the songs in the new album are no different either."

Ayub Bachchu, the vocalist and lead guitarist of the band, said, "I cannot thank LRB rooters enough for their support over the years. LRB has always tried to stay true in delineating youth concerns. With time, the style and genre of our songs have gone through changes from hard rock to soft. We've been wanting to go back to our roots for quite some time. GP and djuice have convinced us that we could do that. We've tried to incorporate our emotions in the songs and it's a homage to the popular trend in rock music that prevailed around 94-95. We couldn't have done this without GP and djuice. They have been instrumental in releasing this album."

Bachchu and other members of LRB then started their performance with a medley that included excerpts of their popular numbers: Ekti hawker, Madhobi, Ghumb-hanga shohorey, Cholo bodley jai, Roopali guitar, Amaye chhada aar kotodin robey, Bangladesh, Ghumonto shohorey, Ferari mon, Akhon onek raat, Hashtey dekho gaitey dekho and many more.

LRB then performed songs from their new album: Koshtota ektu kom diley, Money achhey naki nai and Hridoyheena. The album also includes Banda, Ashbo phirey, Bikeler chanachur, What's up and Jhamela tamela.

Following that Hamin Ahmed, Shafin Ahmed of the band Miles, Fuad Naser Babu of Feedback and singer Alif Alauddin jammed with LRB.

The album will be available in the market from September 15.
