Beauty, Mehrab and Rumi come up with their maiden albums

Beauty recently released her first solo album titled Chorondashi. The album features Lalon Geeti and contemporary folk songs. The contemporary songs have been written by Liton Odhikari Rintu, Shafik Tuhin and Kabir Bakul. Kumar Bishwajit, Prince Mahmud and Fakir Shahabuddin have composed the songs. The album contains 10 numbers including Itorpona, Deho ekhon hashpataley, Manush guru nishtha jaar, Jomlo na pirit, Kobey shadhur choron dhuli and more. Beauty's style is undeniably 'folk' and the songs in the album utilise that skill. Her renditions of the Lalon songs, in particular, stand out.

Mehrab and Rumi, two other Closeup 1 contestants, get their shot at entertaining the listeners through the album Adda. The album consists 10 tracks; Rumi and Mehrab rendered five songs each. The tracks Cholon bil, Swapney bheshey jai, Duurtoma, Adda and more composed by Prince Mahmud and Asif Iqbal are quite easy on ear. The songs mostly belong to the style of contempor-ary pop and adhunik.

The emerging singers sound refreshing and seem to be versatile in different styles of songs.
