BFFS organises orientation course on film criticism

Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies (BFFS) is organising an orientation course on film criticism. This is the first in a series of courses on film criticism meant for the cultural reporters of the different newspapers of the country aimed at familiarising them with different aspects of cinema and film criticism, namely, the artistic, aesthetic, thematic, technical, historical, theoretical, and critical aspects. It is being organised in association with the Alliance Francaise of Dhaka and International Film Critics Association of Bangladesh.

The instructors of the course include Mustafa Monwar, Shafique Rehman, Sadek Khan, Masihuddin Shaker, Tanvir Mokammel, Manzare Hassin Murad and others. The two-day course will be held at the auditorium of Alliance Francaise, Road 3, Dhanmondi, from 10am to 6pm on 14th and 15th June.
