Bhager Manush to be staged in Sirajganj
On September 30, Samay Shankskritik Goshthi will stageBhager Manushat Bhashani Hall Stage in Sirajganj district. The programme has been jointly initiated by the Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation and Bengal Foundation with the title 'Staging plays of Dhaka outside Dhaka'.
Playwright Mannan Heera has adapted Bhager Manush from a short story titled Tobatek Singh by Urdu writer Saadat Hassan Manto, which focuses on the sufferings of the people living near the border during the Partition of the Indian subcontinent in 1947. Aly Zaker is the director of Bhager Manush.
