Biswaroner Nodi:Back from the Commonwealth film festival

Director of the short film and General Secretary of the Bangladesh Short Film Forum, Rashed says, "Biswaroner Nodi is the narrative of a woman driven to suicide by an uncaring society, leaving her child alone. This is a 35-minute short film made in 35-mm format. Tania Ahmed performs in the role of the central character in Biswaroner Nodi. Rimjhim performs as Tania's daughter. Rokeya Prachi, Shamsul Alam Bakul and others also perform in the film."

Rashed, says "Before Biswaroner Nodi, I made a documentary film in 2002 titled The Long Wait. It is a documentary on the life and work of veteran sculptor Novera Ahmed. And this work won accolades. Every one in the documentary is on the lookout for Novera. But nobody knows for sure if she is still alive or not."
