Production of the film has been completed and it's all set to be premiered on Rtv, as part of the Eid-special programmes.

The story revolves around a middle class family living in the suburbs of Dhaka. Khoka, Rabeya, Mantu, Runu and their parents live an uncomplicated life. Rabeya is mentally challenged. Intellectually, she is still a child. Their family friend, known as "Master Chacha" to the siblings, is a strong believer in astrology and is a frequent guest.

When a well-off family moves into the house facing Rabeya's, she rushes off to meet the new neighbours. With her childlike simplicity and naiveté, she soon makes friends with Haroon, the eldest son of the family. However, Haroon's mother does not take too kindly to the budding relationship. She accuses Rabeya's mother of deliberately trying to lure her son with a mentally challenged girl.

Rabeya's mother becomes enraged and locks up her daughter. The family eventually realises that Rabeya is pregnant. To avoid social stigma, an untrained local mid-wife is given the responsibility to perform an abortion on Rabeya. In the process, due to excessive bleeding, Rabeya's life comes to an end.

Ferdaus, Shimul, Litu Anam, Afroza Banu, Khayrul Alam Shabuj and Keramat Mawla have played the major roles in the film. Newcomer Shoma has donned the role of Rabeya. The movie has been directed by Belal Ahmed.
